Northampton General Hospital

CPS Building services carried out the Steam Calorifier Replacement scheme at Northampton General Hospital. This project involved isolating and removing existing Steam Calorifiers and replacing them with new Steam to LTHW and LTHW to DHW plate heat exchangers in various plant rooms across the site, the project required careful planning and coordination as the building was still fully occupied while the works were taking place, therefore systems had to be kept functional during replacements. As part of the project BMS upgrades have taken place controlling all new equipment and linking into the college's head-end system giving them remote control and monitoring of the newly installed plant.
