CPS is proud to be supporting the armed services offering both installation and maintenance to mission-critical installations across both the United States Air Force and the UK armed services. CPS staff have detailed knowledge of the often-challenging environment in which these facilities operate.
One of the mantras to which CPS and the Andwis group works to is “mission critical” and none so much as working with the armed forces, to ensure their mission-critical facilities work at their optimum performance at all times.
Working with the Defence establishment requires a high level of care and sensitivity on the part of the Contractor. Longstanding experience of the sector has made CPS an established presence on military bases across the East of England, including RAF Lakenheath (where we operate from three permanent offices, with a dedicated team of base-approved Engineers), RAF Alconbury, RAF Molesworth, RAF Feltwell, RAF Mildenhall and RAF Croughton.
We work extensively for the United States Air Force, carrying out a large variety of projects, from small works and regular maintenance to full refurbishments. CPS Engineers are all base-approved with the appropriate checks and clearances. This helps to streamline the security compliance process and enables them to operate with greater independence once on site.
In a military environment, protecting the integrity of operations is vital. CPS works very carefully on our scheduling to avoid disrupting the essential work of the bases. Clear channels of communication, and our history as a trusted on-site contractor, help us to carry out repairs and installations with the minimum disturbance to the Client.
