In 2016 Cambridge University Library celebrated over 600 years as one of the world’s greatest libraries.

CPS acted as the principal contractor on this project, our in-house Construction Manager ensured the site was protected thoroughly and all elements of health and safety such as pedestrian control were managed appropriately.

CPS designed a new boiler room in 3D which was prefabricated offsite. Before the existing boiler room was stripped out, CPS provided temporary heating and hot water through the use of our 2-megawatt temporary boiler room.

Electrical services have been updated with a new LED lighting scheme to ensure maximum impact for students and the learning environment.
