CPS has extensive experience of Design and Build projects across East Anglia. We have design capability from RIBA Stage 2 (Preparation and Brief) to Stage 7 (the ‘In-Use’ phase) ), you can rely on us to steer a project from conception to handover – and then beyond. We aim to be a one-stop solution for our Customers.

Collaborative and open

The CPS design philosophy is rooted in collaboration and trust, because we believe that projects run smoothly when everyone is working with the same objectives. To this end, we run regular workshops to keep our Clients involved in the design decisions. We use live cost management to keep the projects on budget. We also offer advanced Building Information Modelling (BIM) when required. Three-dimensional modelling is a highly effective tool at demonstrating to our Clients the exact end product they will receive. BIM modelling it is a great tool at keeping everyone informed about all aspects of the design. CPS have a proven track record of using BIM modelling to great success through pre-fabricating and modularising offsite solutions for our Clients.

Focused on our customers

One of the great advantages of Design & Build is its clear, consistent focus on the end result. At CPS we think this is vitally important, because the ultimate purpose of a building is to serve the people who will use it every day. One way we do this is by using our wide-ranging product knowledge to identify the kinds of innovative, eco-friendly technologies that will create the very best long-term savings. But it also means avoiding technology for technology’s sake: nobody should overspend on complicated systems that won’t be used by the eventual occupants. Our design strategy also seeks to reduce disruption wherever possible; by designing, building and installing components that have been pre-fabricated by our own Engineers, we can speed up the construction process and keep on-site disturbance to a minimum.
