The Hammond Building
CPS Building Services were appointed as the principal contractor on this project. Works included the complete refurbishment of the existing boiler room to the Hammond building at the Department of Veterinary Science for the University of Cambridge.
Our works consisted of the installation of a new boiler, pressurisation unit and all associated pumps and pipework into the existing plant room. A new Megaflo water cylinder was installed within the roof space of the building to serve the laboratory rooms, and point-of-use water heaters were installed in the staff toilet areas. Also, new thermostatic radiator valves were fitted to all the existing radiators.
The complete system is controlled via the new BMS Control Panel located in the plant room. To finish off CPS had to redecorate all the WC areas within the Hammond building.
