Temporary Boilers

CPS’s temporary boiler capability is an essential part of the service. We have our own fleet of portable boiler rooms that provide replacement heating and hot water at short notice, usually deliverable within 24 hours of breakdown. This can be vital in emergency situations when equipment fails and services need to be restored as quickly as possible. But it’s also a major advantage when it comes to pre-planned refurbishment of boiler rooms. CPS can deliver and install the containerised boiler room maintaining your heating and hot water whilst: stripping out the old system, designing and manufacturing offsite a new system and then installing it, all with the least possible disruption to your workforce, facilities or business.

Pre-fabrication

We pre-fabricate our Mechanical and Electrical products off-site wherever possible. This provides a number of key benefits. It ensures quality and safety, as the manufacture of these products takes place in a controlled environment with strict quality assurance procedures. By reducing on-site labour and eliminating delays, it also greatly speeds up the programme in some cases halving the traditional installation time it would take to do the same work on-site. This means these savings can be passed to our Clients giving them value and ultimately cost certainty.

One-Stop Contracting

Though our historical roots are in mechanical installations, today CPS operates as a wide-ranging building services company. As such, we often act as the Principal Contractor for our Clients, handling everything from the design and installation through to the handover of the completed project and then the ongoing maintenance. From a Customer’s perspective, this has several clear advantages. Firstly it provides a single point of contact on a project rather than multiple personnel across multiple companies; a dedicated Construction Manager oversees the day-to-day running of the programme and keeps you updated on progress. Secondly, it reduces costs by avoiding the chain of mark-ups that inevitably happens when companies parcel up the construction elements and subcontract them out. CPS is a one-stop solution for your project providing a full turn-key service.
