Estimated reading time 1 minute
We are pleased to announce the completion of a significant upgrade project at the Centre for Advanced Photonics & Electrics, managed by CPS Building Services for the University of Cambridge Estates Division. This initiative focused on enhancing sustainability and operational efficiency.
Key highlights include the replacement of an outdated Building Management System (BMS) with a TREND system, and the installation of new, energy-efficient air conditioning units. These upgrades aim to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions while standardising technology across the university.
Our commitment to environmental responsibility was demonstrated through the retention of existing infrastructure and strict compliance with F-gas regulations. The project was completed ahead of schedule with minimal disruption to the campus.
