St Johns College – Bridge Street

St Johns College approached CPS Building Services regarding refurbishing their Bridge Street boiler house. CPS produced a cost plan for these works and then employed BSD Consulting to produce design and three-dimensional drawings.

CPS prefabricated all the pipework offsite and completed the whole boiler room installation in 6 weeks. Temporary hot water to the student accommodation was provided during the project. Each new circuit within the boiler room had an Xpot installed to help with future maintenance. CPS managed the replacement of the BMS controls, thermal insulation, balancing, flue, scaffolding and water treatment subcontractors to ensure this tight programme was achieved for St Johns College.
