CPS Building Services Charity Golf Day Raises Over £52,000 for Local Charities

CPS Building Services are delighted to announce the final total from our Annual Charity Golf Day, an incredible £52,239.85 raised in support of three outstanding local charities.

The funds will be donated as follows:

• Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) – £32,239.85
• The Red Hen Project – £10,000.00
• Lighthouse Ely – £10,000.00

This achievement brings our total charitable fundraising over the past five years to more than £165,000.00, a milestone that reflects the generosity and commitment of everyone involved.

Supporting Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust

We were immensely proud to present a cheque for £32,239.85 to Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT), taking our total fundraising for the charity to £138,632.00 through our Annual Charity Golf Days.

Liam and David were joined by Donna Lee-Willis and members of the ACT team to hear first-hand how these funds directly benefit patients at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the Rosie Maternity Ward, ensuring they remain at the forefront of patient care.

Contributions to The Red Hen Project and Lighthouse Ely

In addition to our donation to ACT, CPS was delighted to present £10,000.00 to both Lighthouse Ely and The Red Hen Project.

Following the cheque presentation to ACT, CPS CEO Liam Connelly met with the team from The Red Hen Project in Cambridge to present their donation.

The Red Hen Project has been working with children and families in the local community for over 20 years. Their dedicated family workers provide one-to-one support in homes, schools, and the wider community, helping families overcome barriers to learning and engagement. They also deliver outreach programmes including parenting courses, workshops, family activities, and volunteer opportunities.

CPS are proud to support local organisations such as The Red Hen Project and Lighthouse Ely, both of which make a tangible difference to the lives of people in our community.
