Swift Action by CPS Restores Full Heating and Advances Client’s Green Transition

CPS is proud to have provided rapid solutions for a new client last week, supporting their long-term decarbonisation goals. The client plans to replace their existing gas-fired modular boilers with air source heat pumps as part of their commitment to sustainability.
Their existing boiler system, which serves a heavily populated, 24/7 operational area, was underperforming, with only 2 of 6 modules functioning. During a recent cold snap, one of the remaining modules failed, leaving just a single module operational and providing a flow temperature of only 30 degrees—well below system demand.
Under a prior agreement, CPS was entrusted with supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning a 1MW temporary boiler to maintain uninterrupted operations during the air source heat pump transition. When the failure of the second-to-last module created an urgent need, CPS accelerated the installation timeline. Within just 48 hours, the client was back to full capacity with the full 1MW of reliable heat from our temporary solution.
As the client advances the design and procurement of their air source heat pump system, CPS is proud to have restored heating capacity, ensuring uninterrupted operations and supporting a smooth transition toward a greener future.
